REV GROUP* GRAND PRIX
Presented by American Medical Response**
Road America, Elkhart Lake, WI
June 17-20, 2021
Round #9 of the 2021 NTT INDYCAR SERIES Season
GENERAL INFO – Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin is one of the oldest active permanent road racing facilities in the country. The track was officially opened in September 1955 and is virtually unchanged from the original concept. The track is located in middle Eastern Wisconsin, close to Lake Michigan, North of Milwaukee, close to Sheboygan, Plymouth, and Fond du Lac. For larger landmarks, the track is midway between Milwaukee and Green Bay. It is a beautiful scenic area, quite rural.
The racing facility keeps quite active, hosting some 425+- events annually. Elkhart Lake is in a community with about 1,000 permanent residents. Traffic will be an issue both arriving and departing, as the roads usually accommodate local traffic. Be patient, follow signs and you’ll arrive at this outstanding road course. Camping on the grounds at varying levels of comfort is allowed and somewhat recommended. If you are not camping, seek lodging in Sheboygan, Plymouth, or Fond du Lac. Secure accommodations before leaving home. Cell service can be sketchy and the track provides no charging stations.
The track contains grass, gravel, payment, trails, and hills. Comfortable walking shoes are a must and consider appropriate clothing for the weather. Weather can be hot, cold, wet, moderate, windy and/or humid, or any combination! Pack your allergy meds. Travel as light as possible, but no reserved grandstands. Might want to carry chairs and/or a blanket. Coolers are ok, but no glass or alcohol is allowed.
No shortage of track activity this weekend as the NTT INDYCAR SERIES will be joined by events with Vintage Indy, Radical Cup Series, Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires, Indy Pro 2000, and US 2000. Plenty of entertainment to keep you entertained and delighted with this powerhouse lineup! Track activities include a Fun Zone, public karting, disc golf, and on Saturday, a camping campsite contest for the most awesome campsite!
It’s Fathers’ Day on Sunday, 6/20. Treat the family to a day at the track! Kids under 16 admitted free with a paying adult. Proof of age must be presented. This promotion is only available at Main Gate entry.
